On Sunday April 3, 2016 a burglary occurred at The Make A Wish Foundation Office in San Francisco.  During this burglary numerous items were stolen along with the Hunter Pence autographed scooter which had been recently sold at an auction.

Using surveillance video captured at the scene, members of the Southern Station Investigations Team (SIT) were able to quickly identify the suspects who committed the burglary.  They also tied the suspects to a series of other burglaries in the area. A crime bulletin was issued and thanks to the alertness of Tenderloin Station foot beat officers, two of the three suspects were taken into custody on April 4th at 6:30 pm on the 400 block of Market Street. Investigations are actively looking for the 3rd suspect involved in the incident.

Two subsequent search warrants were served by Southern Station Investigators in the area of 4th Street and the scooter was recovered.

Judd Janke, a 37 year old, white male was booked at San Francisco County Jail for three felony charges of burglary, conspiracy and false impersonation, and two misdemeanor charges of possession of narcotics and burglary tools. Nicholas Tiller, a 26 year old white male, San Francisco resident was booked at San Francisco County Jail for two felony narcotic related charges, felony burglary and multiple misdemeanor charges including possession of stolen property, and a probation violation. Booking photos accompany this press release.

While arrests have been made, this remains an open investigation.  Anyone with information on this crime or involvement of the suspects in other crimes, is asked to contact Sergeant Anderson of the Southern Station Investigation Team at (415) 575-6043.
