SFPD Investigates Bayview District Homicide 24-041(a)

On Monday, April 29, 2024, at approximately 9:33 p.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to the area of 3rd and Quesada streets for a shot spotter activation. 

Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim, later identified as Charles "CeCe" Lawrence, suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid and paramedics conducted life-saving efforts and transported the victim to the hospital. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders and medical personnel, Lawrence was pronounced deceased at the hospital. 

The SFPD Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. Investigators are seeking information about the individual(s) associated with this homicide.
