SFPD Award Ceremony for the Officer of the Month
On Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 4 p.m. the San Francisco Police Department will be joined by Mayor London Breed to recognize five officers who went beyond the call of duty, showing bravery, professionalism, and compassion in their work. The officers will be specially recognized during the Officer of the Month Award Ceremony at City Hall.
The officers being honored are:
Officer Brett Montague of Central Station whose diligent investigation led to the identification and arrest of a Fisherman’s Wharf auto burglary suspect. The officer’s tireless work connected the suspect to numerous other cases.
Sergeant Nicholas Buckley and Officer Shalane Jackson of Bayview Station arrested a suspect armed with a firearm and ammunition after a foot pursuit. The suspect had fled after crashing a stolen vehicle.
Officer Dexter Cato and Officer Brian Conway of Tenderloin Station arrested three suspects wanted in several organized retail theft cases totaling more than $15,000 in stolen merchandise from San Francisco and Bay Area retail establishments.
