San Francisco Police Academy’s 276th Class Swearing In
The San Francisco Police Department’s 276th Recruit Class will be sworn in today, October 21, 2022, by San Francisco Police Chief William Scott. There are 13 graduating officers, nine are male and four are female. Nine graduates are bilingual and fluent in languages such as Russian, Turkish, Kyrgyz, Portuguese, Spanish, Cantonese, and Arabic.
The 276th Recruit Class has six members who have earned Bachelor’s degrees and one that has an Associate’s degree. Members of the class have previously been employed as SFPD Cadets and police service aides, security professionals, a teacher, an accountant, and a barista to name a few.

The 276th Recruit Class has completed 33 weeks of training. Following graduation, the newly sworn SFPD officers will begin a 16-week field-training program at various district stations.
