Investigations 1: Criminal Investigations Unit

The Criminal Investigations Unit (C.I.U.) investigates major criminal incidents, such as, multi-district crime sprees, bank robberies and kidnappings. The C.I.U. also conducts proactive enforcement operations, provides technical assistance and serves as a resource to investigative units within the San Francisco Police Department.
