Captain's Message

Hello Richmond District Residents,

This week is Bike and Roll to School Week. This annual San Francisco city wide event is the largest of its kind in the entire country. Students of all ages have been riding bikes, tricycles, scooters, skateboards, wheelchairs and anything else to school during organized rides.

Richmond Station Officers participated in three rides this week with George Peabody Elementary and Laurel Hill Nursery School. The rides were fun and the weather was great. The mounted unit even made an appearance!

There are rides scheduled all week throughout the city so be on the lookout for extra riders on the streets. See photos from the event on page 2.
